Welcome to the 4-week yoga for gut health and healing course.
The course is structured around 4 weeks to give us time to learn to listen to our guts and make sure we have the yogic tools we need to move forward in our practice safely, effectively and joyfully.
We are working with Asanas (poses), Pranayama (breath work), meditation, and some key concepts of yogic anatomy such as the "Chakras".
The concept of chakras roughly translates as "energy centres" are part of the Yogic Anatomy found primarily down the the torso of the body.
In this course we observe how they correspond to the digestive organs/activity and therefore each week we are working with one or two chakras, as well as other yogic concepts, associated with the areas of the body we are focusing on.
As we follow our healing journey down through the digestive organs, activity and energy centres, I recommend completing the course in the order presented. Once complete you are free to revisit the course in whatever order you like! The rest is totally up to you to enjoy learning about you, yoga and your gut.
There is a brief overview of the chakras in the workbooks for each sequence, however, If you would like to go deeper into the yogic anatomy and how it can unlock more individual healing for you, choose an option with 1-1 support with me.
